Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), is a long-term disease that leads to inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues. Although the cause of RA is unknown, it is classified as an "autoimmune" disease, which means that the body's own immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. RA can affect different joints and areas of the body, and there are many different factors, symptoms, and treatment options available for patients.
